Elven Races of the Avatar's Kingdom
An elf with no sub-title usually means he or she doesn't live in either of the major elvish clans. Elves of this sort usually find themselves living with other races, or in small villages of other elves who don't follow the beliefs of the High Elves, or the Wood Elves.
A Half-elf is a half human, half elf race. Although sometimes considered the rejects of both races, half human races, can sometimes stick together and form small villages, however this may be more rumor then actual fact. What is known about them is Half-Elves have the ability to be able to use human, or elvish items.
Woodland elves have been called many things, Wild elves, Druid Elves, and Jungle Elves are just a few other names. Our woodland friends here on Avatar's Kingdom have a village in the jungles of southern Britannia. Like the High Elves, They are a race of very attractive folk. Wood Elves can use the Druid Enchantments to help them in their struggle with the drow, or anyone else who threaten their home. Elves of all classes have many unique items at their disposal, and are often a popular race.
High Elves are considered to be the most "civilized" of the Elvish races. They often build great cities and form councils to rule their own kingdoms. Since the start of the elvish migration to Magincia, they signed a peace treaty with the humans that has been in effect quite some time. As part of the treaty the city of Magincia was to become a high elf town. It is rare to find a Human there now. Unlike the wood elves who prefer lighter hide, or wood armor, High Elves tend to make wonderful sets of plate armor for their battle hardened warriors.
The drow are both a race of both beauty, and terror. With their legendary evil spider queen God Lloth, or Lolth some say it, they live in the underdark realm far out of the reach of others eyes. Although it is said that the drow are related to the elves from the surface, they will kill anyone who says such, and anyone that it was told to. Drow have in recent history, invaded Wrong removing the juka who once hid out there, and made it their place to preform attacks on the surface world. The main portion of the Drow will choose to stay in the underdark. Usually the drow which have come out of the underdark, are on a mission or they seek freedom of Lloth, usually the males, who are treated as nothing more then slaves in a female dominated world.
A grey elf is a race not selectable from the main race stones. They begin life as drow who try to escape from the clutches of Lloth, and escape to the surface. Then they must seek out Eilistraee and complete her tasks to become one of her followers. Grey elves have the advantage to be able to use their Drow items or any Elf item, this includes mounts. As a whole, the race is fairly rare, because of how they are created, however that does not make them any less powerful then any of their cousin races. (Note: this race has not been completed yet.)
